Ability to assign various roles to tasks as I'm adding them.. If @Self is added to the end of the task, it'll automatically be assigned the the Self Role..  @Work to be assigned to the Work Role, etc..

It is a good idea, but instead of having to write the whole Role, you could associate an abbreviation to a role (Self = @S, Work=@W, etc...) to make it simpler.

I think it's essential to make role-assignment to tasks easier.  I think this is an excellent way to handle this.  Another option I thought of would be to put a small role color icon (as exists) next to the task, and then allow a person to click on that icon to change the role.  That way you don't have to enter the task's submenu, click on roles, assign it, and click save (takes way too long).

Hi Bill, today you can use the @Role notation to assign a role easily. I will think of adding a button like you suggest to make it also more tablet friendly.

Thanks.
