Go To Today doesn't really take to today in mobile view

I'm using Chrome on HTC One M8 running stock ROM 5.0.1. When I tap on the "Go To Today" button, it doesn't take me to today, only take me to the same day as the previous view (Monday to Monday, Friday to Friday), but in the current week.
