default role for board/lists not assigned/updating

I have just noticed what I think is a recent bug - the default role isn't assigned to

any task dragged from the inbox to a board/list. I'm pretty sure this used to happen automatically, but I've recently been losing track of tasks and have found them today in the 'no role' list. I have had to edit each task separately, which is long-winded and a pain - I can't remember ever having to do this in the past.
