Outlook Sync Intermittent
Since I've started using Week Plan earlier this year I've noticed that the Outlook sync is intermittent at best.
It seems to miss bringing over calendar events at random. I can't see any pattern in it. Just looking at this week, it's missing an event I created with no other invitees (a reminder for an appointment) and an event sent to me by an outside entity (single occurrence meeting with attendees). However, another self-created appointment that I created right after the first one appears correctly in Week Plan, as does another meeting requested by someone outside my organization.
I also have some issues with recurring events. I understand that a change to an ongoing recurring event doesn't reflect, and while that's annoying, I can live with it. However, I also sometimes get some weird recurrences that don't match my calendar. For example, I have a monthly recurring meeting that's supposed to take place on the 3d Thursday of the month at 1pm. That comes over fine. But it's duplicated on the 4th Thursday of the month for no apparent reason. I tried to delete the recurrence on the wrong week and both were removed from my Week Plan schedule. Argh.
I've double checked, and all of those meetings are showing correctly in my O365 account, which is what I assume the sync connection is being made to.
In any event, I was wondering if anyone has found an effective way to fix this. I've tried manually syncing from Week Plan, as well as disconnecting the Outlook connection and reestablishing it, and neither works. In order to use Week Plan as I intended to actually be able to block out time on my calendar to get things done, I need my calendar to be properly represented in the tool. Any advice appreciated!
