unable to check off items

i am unable to check off tasks and goals on chrome. "An error has happened and we are sorry about it. Try to refresh the page to make sure you have the latest version." and then this message keeps popping up again after clicking the OK button

I'm experiencing the same thing in Safari 8 - whatsmybrowser.org/b/GKVEVB0 .  I restarted my browser to no avail.  It's only completing tasks that generates this error message.  I can move and create new tasks fine.  Also, journal entries here aren't saving.

I tested in Firefox - whatsmybrowser.org/b/TKOP72V - and can't even log in there.

Oh I thought it was because I deleted a role, but I guess it's just a general problem then :>

We had some downtime this Sunday where one of our servers run out of disk space silently... It explained the surge in issues recently.
