why the interface change?

Not so excited about the new interface change. Previously everything was was visible at a glance, now I have to scroll off to the side and my long term items are not visible anymore either unless I switch tabs. The great thing about this little app was this one-page simplicity. The very thing that made this app so wonderful has been lost!.

when threads are mixed up in too broad timeline, we lose what people talk about. Which UI version was it 3 or 5 years ago? No clue.
