Why is the focus timer only one minute now.

I use the focus timer and think it is a brilliant feature and was very annoyed to learn today that now it only counts ONE minute at a time - and then there is a pause for 2 minutes. What is the rationale in that? Please dont change things that actually work - it is very frustrating to go to weekplan.net and found that the feature you normally use has been changed.
