timer notification

Is there a visual notification of a completed pomodoro that appears discretely but clearly in one's working screen? For me the sound notification is not so convenient since I often share my office. Thanks!

ps this is the voice of a PC-user. Perhaps it is different on a mac.

That would be nice -- perhaps a pop-up (overriding the other, not-weekplan window one is working in) could be even more effective. Best, Catherine
