outline not working

When I try to type in the text box the cursor jumps to the beginning of the sentence and types backwards.

I cannot reproduce it on my Mac. What laptop do you use? What mouse? Keyboard?

I am sorry I cannot reproduce this issue but I am know it is a thing because other users have reported it. I just can't figure out what triggers this issue...
