Subtask Times don't translate to total task time.

When allocating time to sub tasks, it would be nice for the total time of the sub-tasks to show as a total time for the task header.

Hi there,

Thank you for   your  suggestion.  We'll keep this posted so  others may come in an vote  on it :)  The more  votes the  bigger possibility it  will be included in the next   improvement plan :)

Have a great day!

I agree, this would be really good if it'd be a quick and easy change to make, an important part in planning for me is breaking a task into it's component parts and estimating a time for each of these, otherwise I'm hopelessly optimistic about how long a task will take and overbook myself.  I guess it keeps my brain active to then tot up the time for the subtasks and enter it into the main task manually but it would be nice if this happened automatically - understand that there will be higher priorities if it's a tricky one though, as it can be worked around at least.

Agreed! And, without meaning to be too negative, it kind of defeats the purpose of being able to track time against sub-tasks if the tracked time doesn't auto roll-up into the parent task (which may also be a Goal). I have just found out that it hasn't been doing that, now I need to go back and manually calculate all the tracked time against my sub-tasks and manually update the parent task.

P.S. There is also a bug where the parent and sub-task lose their goal status when switching back and forth between them, not sure if you want to add this to a different thread, but thought I'd just point that out.
