How to delete date in a task?

Posunko.aa 6 months ago • updated by Ana Loraine (Community Manager) 1 month ago 7

I've chosen a day for the task but then I've changed my mind and now I don't know when I will do this task. So I want to delete the date. How to do it? Where is the button "no date"?

You can delete assigned HIT by clicking "remove from week" button.

It is not possible to unassigned normal task from week (as it should have gone nowhere).

Yes but it'd be better if I can delete date in the same interface where I set the date.

Hi there!

Our apologies as this option is not available yet.

We appreciate the feedback and will pass this along to our team.

It may not be in high priority at the moment but we will have this noted for future improvement.

This is pretty annoying - I've just made a lot of subtasks using the new interface and now they are all placed today and are being pushed to Todoist via Zapier - and I have no possibility to remove the date from them. How come this is not a priority to remove the date when you can do it in the old interface?

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out and we are sorry to hear about this.

We reached out to our dev team for advice regarding sync via Zapier. We will get back to you as soon as we receive a feedback.

Thank you for understanding.

I also find it confusing that there is not a simple way to un-assign a date from the place where you can also assign a date. Sometimes you change your mind and need to send things to the back burner, but don't want to delete them.

Hi,

We suggest creating a board for your pending task where you can place those that you want to remove from schedule.

We offer free coaching sessions if you need help with the features and function of the app.

Kindly select an appointment from this calendar and we'll reach out to you via Skype call.
