New notes are never added to a stale window from the day before and no error is shown either

Repro steps

• Let's say we are starting on a Wednesday and there are a bunch of notes showing up in Wednesday.
• Leave a window open for 24 hours
• The notes will still show up under Wednesday because the window has not been refreshed
• Add a new note in Wednesday

Expected Output

• Either the new note is successfully added
• OR an error is shown asking user to refresh the page before adding new notes

Actual Output

• New note is not added
• AND no error is shown
