Unable to mark tasks as done

As of this morning clicking the round bullet at the left of a task no longer marks it complete. When clicking the browser shows that there is some activity on the page, but no change occurs. I've tried closing the tab and re-navigating to weekplan, waiting to see if it "catches up" with the action, and switching from "Do" to "Plan" but without any change the outcome.
