this is absolutely true. at this time, i use gqueues, which can be adapted to operate similarly to a covey system, but it is a workaround. week plan has the right idea. but there should be a daily notes section as well as a full calendar. if this were done, all they would have to do is import the calendar into google and it would be done. the other thing would be to integrate contacts. do that and this platform would be a complete winner.
I'd love to see my weekplan tasks in Google calendar. Have been looking for AGES for a 7 Habits-centric planner for Google cal. Google tasks is insufficient. Weekplan (just started using it today) looks like a worthy replacement.
However, the ability to schedule tasks from weekplan with an "Add to Google Calendar" button, or even better, access to WeekPlan from within Google Calendar would be excellent.
It's really helpful if Workplan can be synchronize with Google Calender. Which i hope i can see all my Google Calendar appointment on Workplan, it will be even better if workplan have a mobile version.
I would go for the "see WP tasks in Google calendar (or outlook)"
These calendars are widely used, very mature, multi-platform and incorporate native features (reminders, off-line mode, ...)
No need to re-invent the wheel...
Plus, the scenario of creating a task in Google Calendar and then viewing it in WP sounds wrong to me. It misses the point, IMHO, of creating a task in relation to your roles and vision.
For me, I use Google Calendar for scheduling. There are a lot of features that this could incorporate, but for me...if I could just see my Google calendar on weekplan, it would be a great help. My purpose here would be to schedule my tasks around my appointments.
personally, i normally use Google Calendar(through an iPad's app) and have my own written week plan(similar format with WeekPlan), therefore, it will be nice if i can access my WeekPlan from my Google Calendar
