Synchronize with Google Tasks (and ical...)

Synchronization is not an easy problem to deal with. In what scenario would you use it?
Do you want to see your Google Calendar events inside WeekPlan? Do you want to have access to your WeekPlan tasks on your Google Calendar?

this is absolutely true.  at this time, i use gqueues, which can be adapted to operate similarly to a covey system, but it is a workaround.  week plan has the right idea.  but there should be a daily notes section as well as a full calendar.  if this were done, all they would have to do is import the calendar into google and it would be done.  the other thing would be to integrate contacts.  do that and this platform would be a complete winner.

A complete integration with Google would make sense because I could conduct weekly planning through the Week Plan interface, adjust daily as needed and then while actually operating from Google Apps I could see any conflicts in my daily and monthly calendar and drag and drop scheduled priorities according to quadrant 1 and 2 events as they take place.  This would allow me to remain in quadrant 2 for most of the time.

Google's task UI is limited (even the canvas view) - so would be great to be able to:

a) create tasks quickly on Google as usual, on any device, in any list
b) access tasks in WEEKPLAN to ... plan the week ... accessing all tasks across all lists - maybe lists correspond to roles?  Using WEEKPLAN UI to easily drag and drop to assign a date
c) access the resulting changes back in Google, on any device

Great initiative - thanks for your work - hope this adds... MC

The current implementation allows you to pick one list on Google Tasks that should be synchronized with WeekPlan. It is a two way synchronization.

You can play with it if you are a beta tester. You can connect to your GTasks account in the workspace settings page.
