Synchronization is not an easy problem to deal with. In what scenario would you use it?
Do you want to see your Google Calendar events inside WeekPlan? Do you want to have access to your WeekPlan tasks on your Google Calendar?

The current implementation allows you to pick one list on Google Tasks that should be synchronized with WeekPlan. It is a two way synchronization.

You can play with it if you are a beta tester. You can connect to your GTasks account in the workspace settings page.

I tried selecting my GTask list in the workspace settings page but it still won't sync.  Is there a setting or something on the GMail account I have to also perform to make this feature work?

Hi Tim, we are rolling out this feature slowly. At the moment, it should synchronize once a day (midnight). The aim is to have the synchonization done more often.

Hi Aymeric - I tried but after 24 hours I don't see any new tasks synced across from Google.

Also, I'm wondering if I can use different workspaces to sync with different lists?

Ok, I will check this issue.

OK I saw tasks come into Google from my primary workspace - great!

What about the other way - can tasks from Google come back into WeekPlan?

Also I noticed that WeekPlan rolled tasks to the next day, but Google didn't.

Now I've added some tasks to other workspaces to see if they will sync as well.

Hi Mick,

In the next deployment, the synchronization will happen every hour instead of every night. So if the tasks are moved to today from yesterday, it will be reflected in Google Tasks within the next hour

Yes, tasks added in GTask will be added to WEEK PLAN.

With a calendar feed (i.e. ics, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICalendar), it's possible to display the weekplan events directly in Google Calendar, Outlook, etc... And hopefully it can work with reminders as well. I would really really love this!

Thank you for weekplan.net! Keep up the good work!

Yes a .ics would be nice. I have added it to the list of things to do.
