New tasks appearing in current day instead of future dates where they are created?

I am having an issue where any new tasks that i create on future dates are appearing in the current

days tasks. I jump ahead into future weeks and create a task, it then places in current days tasks, i then 

need to move manually to the correct date. 

Please help.
