Sync with Outlook

Hi all,

I'm not sure if I'm missing anything, but can I expect this workflow to work?

Scenario:
I like to use Week Plan for planning my week, however I get a lot of tasks by email through Outlook/Exchange.

My desired solution:
  1. Sync WeekPlan to Gtasks
  2. Attach original emails to Outlook tasks for ease of replying
  3. Sync Outlook to GTasks using GSyncit
  4. Access Gtasks with IOS app
My challenge is that any tasks from Outlook do sync to Gtasks (minus attachments), but don't sync upstream to WeekPlan.

I'm also open to other tools/workflows that achieve the same.

Please note however that I'm talking 100 emails/day, so the process does need to be efficient.

Are you perhaps, referring to the Microsoft Exchange? If so, please be advised that this is yet to be available via Zapier.

Meetings that one need to prepare for is main toll on one's professional role. But there is a disconnect there. Need a way to periodically sync Outlook Exchange to WP is needed. Just once/twice a day batch script will also do the job. There are some VB tools that send Outlook agenda out as an email, if WP can parse those, it will be a great value add. Happy to pay premium for it.

Hi Rob, 

First, I am sorry for the long delay in responding to your question. I am running weekplan on the side at the moment and I sometimes get overwhelmed by the amount of work I need to handle. 

Anyway, to answer your question, you should be able to get from Gtasks to Weekplan using the Gtasks synchronization in the PRO plan. The integration allows you to synchronize all the tasks within a specific bucket with weekplan.

Have you tried that already?
