Not showing current week when logging on

I joinedweek plan on week 7.  Now we're in week 8, but whenever I open week plan, it's at week 7 and I have to scroll to week 8.  I simply cannot find a way to make week 7 go away.  I can't see why everyone is saying wonderful this app is, because I can assure you that when I'm in week 20 or 32 or 48, I sure as hell won't be wanting to scroll through all the damn way from week 7.  Going to sign up with Evernote.
