generating a subtask under a "backlog by roles" item also falsely generates a new backlog item

I have just joined the weekplan community and come across a topic, which surely must have been addressed previously by other users.

When generating a subtask of an existing backlog item this subtask is listed not only as a subtask but also falsely generates an additional backlog item. I strongly assume that this is not intended since this is counter-productive to the basics of weekplan, namely to facilitate and to help - it does not follow a valid workflow and confuses the user. Please advise.

Thank you for reaching out. May we ask if you scheduled these subtask i.e. given the start time for these subtasks?

If user has many subtasks under a task and he/she schedule a subtask(s) at any day and time, they will visible on the scheduled day as well so that it wouldn't skip.  You can imagine, if a user has more that 10 subtask, they wouldn't prefer it to show only under the task. It might have chance of skipping if they do not click show all. If you click on that subtask item it will show the Parent task name always for the reference. Let us if it is not the case.

Thank you.

Kindest Regards,

Geeta
