Checklist not repeating with task

I'm trying to set up a repeating task that contains a checklist. The task repeats, but without the checklist.

Yes I had made the decision that there is a value in not repeating the subtasks (for example, if your task is Shopping). A way to work around this is to list your subtasks in the Notes area using this notation:

- task1
- task2

This will create a list in your notes.

Thanks for the info. I understand your thinking on this. It would be great to be able to make a task with subtasks into a template that could then be pasted as needed.
