I want to associate tasks to big rocks
Something I really miss when using weekplan: to achieve my goals or 'big rocks' I take small steps or 'tasks'. Now I can only associate a task with a roll, or use my 'big rocks' as a task.
I would like an association between tasks & rocks, making it possible to link my small steps (which change on a weekly basis) to my 'big rocks' (which stay the same over multiple weeks).
Is that possible or anywhere on the roadmap?
If you have a different idea on how I can use WeekPlan to achieve the same goal: please let me now.
Thanks a lot for your time and effort you're putting into WeekPlan. Really appreciate it.

Hi Anthony,
You used to be able to associate a task to a big rock, but then I removed when I introduced the ability to associate to a role instead.
How would you use the ability to associate your tasks with big rocks?

Hey Aymeric,
Thanks for your quick reply!
For instance when I have a 'big rock' personal goal like: getting in shape, I would have different tasks throughout the week to achieve that goal, like: going for a run.
It would be great if those two were linked together. Visually (color, an icon, a number, alfacode, ...) and technically (by clicking a big rock you can filter al tasks related to this big rock).
What do you think?

Yes it would be nice. I will let everyone vote to help prioritize this item. I have renamed the title to make it easier to understand.
Cheers,
Aymeric

Hi,
I also this this idea would be very useful to make it clearer as to what steps are needed to get to your big goals. Also a progress bar on the big rocks based on the number of subtasks would be a good visual tracker :)
I've been using week plan for just less than a week and i'm enjoying it very much, thank you!
