Week view changed

The week now is in one line where you have to scroll over instead of appearing on a single page and you have to scroll over to see the rest so you can't see it all at once.. I don't like this change. I loved my weekplan how it was before.

I have implemented a way to switch between the two modes. Best of both worlds!

Hi everyone, I know that this is a controversial change, and the week view in a grid was a landmark of weekplan but I believe that this new layout is superior in many ways. For example, you can see more of each day in the week view. many people have more than 4 tasks in the same day and the grid view was not showing enough. Also, when you arrive in the second half of the week, the value of seeing Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday is small, but these days take a lot of space in the grid view.

I have improved the list view over the weekend so that you can now see 5 days without scrolling, which should cover all your working week.

Please try to give this new layout a fair go, I sincerely hope you will find it better as many users do.
Still really struggling with this new view - I can't drag tasks from the current day into pending [or further into the week] or out again directly, I'm finding I have to drop them off to a day mid way along and then into where I want.  In addition the screen seems to randomly scroll left or right after picking up or moving a task (using IE11) or not allow you to complete tasks (chrome).  I'm a very heavy user of your product and have really enjoyed using it on multiple devices.  For me using it has suddenly become cumbersome for use on both small and large screens.

The suggestion below to give the option to have both views would be a great solution.  Please can you consider it.

I agree that seeing more than 4 tasks in the same day is an improvement.

Perhaps you could give people the option to select whichever view mode they prefer? That shouldn't be too hard.

Yes! Please update it to how it was - it is now difficult to move tasks between days on a smaller laptop screen and you lose a feel for what is planned for the week
