when working in a shared workspace and adding tasks - the tasks are often not attributed to the creator of the task. It gets really buggy when filtering if someone doesn't go through and assign the tasks to the person who created them manually.

Hi Josh,

I just found this bug that you raised a month ago while I was away. Do you mean that you would like new tasks in shared workspace to be automatically assigned to the author?

Hi - yes that's what I'm saying.  I can understand that the task would not be assigned to anyone if this was a team task management tool.  But in my mind, weekly plan is personal planning tool that can be shared with others, and in that sense, tasks that are added should be automatically be owned by the author.

I see, it is a fair point. I am adding your suggestion to my list of things to do. I can't promise you when it will be done, but it will be done at some point (I will add an option in the workspace settings to let users activate this feature, instead of putting it by default).
