Latest Design Changes

I refreshed earlier in the date today and notice some design changes were introduced.  One of the change to the inbox now lets you promote a task to plans of the week.  However when I go to the plans of the week - I can't see it since the task in the inbox has no role assigned to it yet.  Is this how it suppose to work?  Did I miss something obvious?  If I search for the task I can find it and add a role to it.  This then allows me to see the task by role ....
