Hi, great app. However after the recent update, Weekplan does not load on Android phones. I have to uninstall and reinstall to open it. After the first login, it doesn't load anymore. Just a white screen is showing. Any idea why?

Amazing! Last post 8 months ago with no fix. Really!

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out.

This issue has been fixed and we haven't received this same report in a while. We also released a couple of updates for the Android app since then.

We looked into your concern from the other ticket you submitted, however, we aren't able to replicate the white screen.

May we ask for you to check your internet connection before launching the app again?

We will wait for your feedback.

Hi, an update: the problem was resolved some weeks ago, then the white screen issue came up again yesterday, but I checked my app now, and it's working fine. Hope your team can stabilise the platform. Tq.

H there!

Thank you for sharing this with us.

Our dev team is still working on fixing this issue. I will share your feedback with them.

My phone is configured to automatically update all of my apps. When I first installed the app it worked fine for several weeks. Then all of a sudden the issue appeared. As a work around I use a browser on my phone to access WeekPlan. I did noticed the same "failed to fetch" error message on the website's login page but I am able to login. The error message on the website does not occur consistently as it does with the app.

I noticed that in the morning when I first use the app I get a white screen. If I turn off WiFi which then activates data via cell tower I can use the app one time without issue. After that I'll get a white screen with a blue bar at the top (as if the page is loading) and then I'll get the error message. I still get the white screen even if I switch WiFi on and off again.

Lastly, I have Android developer mode (options) turned on for a different issue. I'm not versed in developer mode but feel to ask me to turn on any debugging. My phone is model RS988 which is factory unlocked. which means that it was not purchased through a carrier and as such does not have any carrier bloatware.

Hi there!

Thank you for the response.

I shared this to our dev team for additional reference. We will let you know once the update is available.

Thank you for understanding.

Hi there!

Thank you for reaching out. We are sorry to hear about this.

May we ask if you have udpated the app before this happened?

I am still having white screen problems with the app and I needed to access weekplan on the run. So I went to the website itself. It seems to be working fine so I bookmarked it onto my home screen and am using it that way for now. This may be helpful for a temporary solution for others until the App gets fixed.

Hi there!

Thank you for sharing your work around. We are sorry to hear that you're having the same issue?

For reference, may we ask if you already updated the app before this happened?

Well the issue has changed to a "failed to fetch" on the login page. It appears to be referencing a hidden image. The login page does not bring up the keyboard for a login by email.

Ah, the joys of maintaining software across multiple platforms and versions. I'm using a LG G5 running Android 7.0
