Hi! Few ideas for you:

1) tie tasks & roles with each other i.e. add visibility to roles & tasks associated with it e.g. let user highlight every role & task with a color;
2) add auto-reminders for tasks sensitive to specific time e.g. send e-mail;
3) add option to make some roles & tasks visible in report & some not e.g. to extract information which could be shared with boss & other separately;

#1 Done and deployed

#2 This is a duplicate (please vote here)

#3 Done!

Just click on a role and only tasks related to that role will be shown. If you print the page while you have a role selected, it will print with that filter (and not show your other roles) so that you can share it to your manager.

#1 - ok, looking forward to it
#2 - I do the same now, but IMHO the auto-reminders is also a considerable addition
#3 - sounds great, but sometimes you just need a piece of paper to look at on your desk

Anyway I agree the very 1st change is the most critical one, so hope you'll find time to work on it soon.

Thanks!
I have made WeekPlan print-friendly already. Just print using the landscape mode.

My apologies Evgeny.

I was following the discussion but for some reason my brain didn't register you were expecting for an answer.

All 3 suggestions are really good.

Suggestion #1 is probably the quickest to implement, the most useful to people, the most visual and the one that matches the best with my vision of WeekPlan.

I just need to find the time to work on it :) (I work on WeekPlan in my spare time while trying to run a startup and do consulting for clients).

Suggestion #2 is also definitely something useful but not as important as #1. By the way, the way I handle time in my WeekPlan is that I put the time as a prefix of the task, and the task is always urgent: "12:30 Have coffee with Matt!"

Suggestion #3: I am planning on offering WeekPlan for teams. You can have multiple calendars and invite people to it. In a group calendar, each user would show as a role and can be associated with tasks (delegated) like you suggest in #1. So instead of having to print the report, you could simply share the WeekPlan with your manager.
Does it sound like a good way of helping you and your manager?

guess to be able to send those reminders to you on time. If you need the system to remind you sometihng at say 3-00 pm (UTC+0), you should somehow let the system know that you are actually expecting it to remind you this something at 3-00 pm (UTC+0)
Thanks for clarification (you should create an on userecho so that I can recognize you)
