Is there document that describes the basic features and terms of WeekPlan?  All I can find are short videos that generally appear to show earlier versions of the product.

Have a great day!

Thanks for your help, but the documentation the knowledge-base is quite sparse.  I like the program but I am confused about some features...

- How are goals connected to tasks?

- How does the system facilitate weekly planning?

- Are big rocks now called high-impact tasks?

- How do I add (regular) tasks without assigning them to a specific day?

For example how would the goal “Get fit” with the (presumably high-impact) task “Work out three times a week” best be entered into the system? How would the (regular) task “replace ceiling light” fit in?

Lastly, why do tasks in the high-impact task list remain there even after they are dragged to the calendar while tasks in the parking lot disappear after they are dragged to the calendar?

Hi there!

Thank you for reaching out.

1. How are goals connected to tasks?

To utilize the Goals Tracker, you have to create the goals and task there. Please see this page for additional information

https://support.weekplan.net/forums/4-knowledge-base/topics/2899-more-information-about-the-goal-tracker/

2. How does the system facilitate weekly planning?

The interface shows you the tasks you have within a week and helps you manage and promote efficiency with the app's features.

3. Are big rocks now called high-impact tasks?

Yes. The Big rocks are now called as HIT (High Impact Tasks)

4. How do I add (regular) tasks without assigning them to a specific day?

If you want to list down the task but don't want to schedule them yet, you can list them under the Roles section.

or to on your board (ex. Parking lot) and list them under Pending Task

When you already decided to schedule the task, just drag and drop the task to any day w/in the week or by clicking the task, you can assign a date and time.
