Hi! Few ideas for you:

1) tie tasks & roles with each other i.e. add visibility to roles & tasks associated with it e.g. let user highlight every role & task with a color;
2) add auto-reminders for tasks sensitive to specific time e.g. send e-mail;
3) add option to make some roles & tasks visible in report & some not e.g. to extract information which could be shared with boss & other separately;

#1 Done and deployed

#2 This is a duplicate (please vote here)

#3 Done!

Just click on a role and only tasks related to that role will be shown. If you print the page while you have a role selected, it will print with that filter (and not show your other roles) so that you can share it to your manager.

1/ Yes, I need to find an elegant way to do that. It will be an opportunity to add colors to the user interface.

2/ People have suggested that in the past. Please vote here.

3/ Could you please explain what should be included in the report?

1) How about using a role button in-front of each task (or between the Priority and the Task Description when that feature is added).  This button is then colored the same as the role color.  The roles listed in the Weekly Compass also have the same color.

If you click the role, then the weekly planning shows only those tasks with that role and any tasks unassigned.  This lets the user click the Unassigned tasks Role Button to change its color to the same as the current role being examined.

2) Perhaps add all the social outlets: PM to Twitter, FaceBook, Google+, MySpace...
Then you can also choose to have certain Tasks shared...

I also like this requires a due date option to be available with the tasks.

3) I would like to see it:
Private: Left off reports unless you specify to add all items.  Reports saved online can only be seen by the user.
Public:  Default setting for reports, shows only these items.  Reports asved online can be viewed by any WeekPlan user.  Or those associated with you.
Link: Creates a report that can be shared, but only if the link if followed.  Anyone can see this report, even if they are not a WeekPlan user.  Great way to demonstrate to potential users.

What kind of task would share on FB / Google+?

Hi Aymeric!
1) ok, could you advise when to expect the point to be implemented?
2) ok, as there are already many votes for the point, maybe let's keep it here?
3) explaining in details: sometimes my boss asks me what I'm doing, so in order to reply quickly I could press a link/button on weekplan.net and extract all tasks associated with my working role e.g. finance analyst. Of cource, the 1st point above must be implemented first as you need to tie tasks & roles together.

Mr Green
you need to capture time to do it, now you can't assign timeframes

@Mr Green
Why must time be captured?

guess to be able to send those reminders to you on time. If you need the system to remind you sometihng at say 3-00 pm (UTC+0), you should somehow let the system know that you are actually expecting it to remind you this something at 3-00 pm (UTC+0)
