Moving Task between days does not work

hi there

I just realised that moving one task from one day to another does not work after todays maintenance.

It is impossible to set future date or to drag-and-drop.

after such operation the task goes back to previous day.

any ideas?

It functioned perfectly before, without the workaround you described.


I am constantly adapting my schedule and moving tasks from scheduled to unscheduled, across to the next day, etc. Having to do those extra steps has never been necessary before.

Because if you would like to keep that task on Week plan you need to put it somewhere. Either in scheduler or some list of the board? You are trying to remove it from the scheduler (from some date/ time) you need to keep that in some place and so that you can schedule it later

is there a reason why removal of date/time cannot be done without assigning it to a list?  Assignment to a list sounds like a workaround, not a solution.  If I can move a task into place, I should be able to undo that action by reversing what was done.

You need to assign the scheduled task to a list then you can remove the date from the edit task sidebar to unscheduled it

Having the same issues so this is not yet fixed.

Examples: 

  • I try to drag a task from Monday, no time set, to Tuesday at 8PM and the task goes to Monday at 8PM.
  • I attempt to change the date/time in a task to a future date and the task does not change.

this happens only when you edit one task it details. when you drag-and-drop everything is fine...
