Drag & drop de-scheduling

Hello Weekplan team/Aymeric,


I'd like to know if the drag & drop functionality for de-scheduling tasks on the web app is now permanently removed, or if it will be coming back.


As I've said in a previous post, it was super easy and convenient in the past to de-schedule a task. A simple, single click, drag and drop - done.


Now it takes 6 clicks to de-schedule a task.

Please could you confirm if this is an intentional UX choice or a bug that is yet to be fixed, it was unclear on the other post.

Drag and drop should work in web app. May we ask some more details like are you trying to drag recurring or normal task? Normal task should be draggable. It would be great if you share some screen recording of the issue to check it further.

"Sorry I missed that and thank you for sharing the detailed video.

As per video I noticed you are trying to drag a same day scheduled task (Task has time ) at the bottom of task which do not have specific time. Please note all the scheduled task has time display above of the tasks which do not have specific time in the same day. Task display's in the Week Plan calendar (scheduler) in chronological order of time.

You can drag the task which do not have specific time in up and down in the same day. But if you try to drag the task have time to up or down the time of those will change according to their time. Also you update that time from edit task sidebar.

Hi there, 

My sincere apologies for missing this ticket. 

I checked the video for the issue. You are trying to drag a scheduled task in the same day below the unscheduled task.  Please note that in a day, the task(s) has time will always be on the top of task has no time.  The list will display the task sorted on the basis of time.  You can rearrange the unscheduled time tasks on the same day. They should be draggable.

I'm sorry but that doesn't help.


You are missing my point. This used to be possible. Dragging a scheduled task to the bottom to unschedule it.


It used to take a single drag and drop to unschedule a task.


Now it takes 6 clicks.


Why?
