Tasks disappear from list whe its dragged to calendar

I'll like to keep my full running list of to dos (in my lists in my boards), so I can see all of what I have to do at once. But I'd also like to move tasks to calendar so I know when I have schedules to do them. If a task is dragged to my calendar its auto removed from my list. so I lose track of the bigger picture. Can a task remain in my list and be scheduled in the calendar? and only removed when task is completed?

Thanks

At the moment a task can either be in a list or a date, not both.

It seems that the tasks retain the List Name from the parking lot when moved to the calendar.  This would be the feature that francesgain wants (and me as well - I used the parking lot to track deliverables of my projects).  But it is inconsistent. I can't seem to figure out how to get the task to retain the list name after moving to a date.  See screenshots.
