Suggestion: Implement option to keep crossed-out tasks in original order

Hey there,

I have been using the program for years now, and have been in touch in the past. Just a quick suggestion: I noticed that in the new version completed tasks fall automatically into a hidden separate list at the bottom of the day. I know this feature was specifically requested by another user four-five years ago, but, here are my two cents:

WP has a strong graphical layout. if you use it as a planner to time-block your day, rather than as a task manager, it is actually rather helpful to 'see' how the various time-slots have panned out at the end of the day, those you managed to 'cross' and those you did not. To remove the complete ones from sight makes it impossible for you to appreciate the outline of the day as originally planned, and make the necessary corrections.

My suggestion is: implement an option in the preferences, so that those who use WP as a planner can keep the crossed-through tasks in their original place, and those who use it as a task manager can have them removed from sight at the bottom.

That's it. Hope you find it useful!

You can get this outline from the time bar at the top. Isn't this enough?

Do you mean the tiny bar at the top of each day column? If that's the one you are thinking, well, no, not really. Not for me at least. That bar only shows which parts of the day are blocked off, and what the corresponding roles are, but I see it more as a tool to assess at a glance how heavily planned a given day is, and what role is more prominent.

In order to review my day and actually figure out what went wrong (that is, which time-slots I ended up using as planned, and which not), I need to see the actual time-slots stacked up with a little more detail (as in the column).

At the moment I am simply not crossing off anything, to keep the column as I organise it. But anyway, mine was just a suggestion. If it's easy to implement, I think it would be appreciated by people who use the software like I do. Otherwise, it's not a deal breaker.

Thanks for getting me to me, and keep up the great work!

It would be good to have this option.
