After making the browser (Chrome on Mac) smaller (less wide), I cannot drag the tasks anymore to rearrange them. The mouse icon still changes on hover (suggesting one can drag), but the dragging doesn't work.

I actually tried the other day to drag tasks from one day to another and it would not allow me to do this but today it is working. I am relatively new to using this program and I was surprised this simple feature would not work but it seems to be working now. I just wanted to share that I also had issues with this feature.

in the video above you show the dragging on a wide browser viewport. That works for me without problems as well. Try making the browser smaller as if you would have it on the side of another window. Maybe this screenshot helps explaining more what I mean.

It looks like you are zoomed in on a day. If so, please be advised that the drag and drop will not work.
Otherwise, please advise what browser you are using when you took this shots and we'll be more than happy to check further.
Actually the drag and drop does work in zoomed dayview when I have the browser set to a larger viewport. And I would expect it that way too (to change the order of tackling tasks within the day)
The problem not only occurs on zoomed day view, but also when not being zoomed. Again, only when the browser is set to a smaller viewport.

With the first screenshots you provided, you are in a "Zoom in" day view. As it shows in the clip below.
On the second set of photos, are you referring to the Zoomed in view of your browser?
Also, may we ask if you were having issues dragging the task within the day or a different day?

I have not zoomed the browser, I just made it less wide.
With the browser less wide I cannot drag tasks within the day (to drag tasks on the timebar on top for instance) nor can I drag it to another day. I hope the following image clarifies it a bit more.

Thank you explaining the issue. Due to some technical reasons we had stopped drag and drop features for mobile devices at the moment though it is our backlog, so it will not work on mobile/tablet screen size.
