Duplicating tasks (not the same as reoccurring)

Am I able to duplicate a task?  This is different than a reoccurring task.  What I would like to be able to do is take an old task that had a series of checklist items and duplicate it as a future task that I can then customize.

Hi there!

Thank you for reaching out.

Our apologies as we do not have this function available with the app.

We appreciate the suggestion and we'll pass this along to our team and founder for consideration.

Well if you ask me, that's a very basic/obvious function that should be implemented. It's not a thing of consideration, it's a must, because everyone of us has tasks we do every day. Why should we waste our time manually creating all these tasks again? Doesn't make sense. I expected this from a paid service... At the and of the day, weekplan is

a day by day planner and not a one-and-done todo list. Or is it?

Would be great to have templates as part of this duplicated tasks too! E.g

"Bake a cake"

1) Buy these ingredients
2) Preheat oven
etc

Though in my case it will be boring projects that have similar steps

Agree this is crucial - a previous ticket that suggested this is now marked as complete, yet when I copy (control+drag&drop) a previous or existing task  the subtasks etc. don't copy over.

Hi,

Thank you for voting and sharing your insight on this feature request.

This is not on the top of our list at the moment but we'll review this again. Meanwhile, we'll keep the votes coming

It is possible to clone tasks, but it doesn't clone the subtasks at the moment.
