Task Title partially greyed out on web and cut off in app

So I've noticed that for a bunch of my tasks, the "task title" is being edited in various ways.


In the web app, the first few characters are sometimes greyed out (see here - "TPM" is greyed out)

This isn't a huge problem, but then when I look at that task in the iOs app, the "TPM is completely deleted:



THis makes understanding what the task is in the iOs app a bit difficult. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening? Thanks.

The ios app was previously run by an independent ios developer and we have recently acquired full ownership.


We will be releasing an update for the app soon but I already shared this to our team for further checking.

Our sincerest apologies for the late update. 


According to our dev team, the greyed out title is called the prefix in their terms. It is used to easily categorize tasks. For example: "v2: Dom something" This issue can be avoided by not using a colon ( : ) on the the task titles.


Can you please try this on your end and let us know if it's still present afterwards?

Oh dear. This is very dispiriting. Right now I just cannot use the app as is on my phone - too many problems. I'm using the mobile site on my phone but it's REALLY cumbersome. I've been tolerating this for over 2 months because you'd said it would be only a few weeks until the new app was released - honestly, I'm not sure how much longer I can deal with the small issues. You don't have any sense at all as to when the app will be released? I want to stick with WeekPlan but without a timeline I'm not sure...

Currently, we are just waiting for App Store's approval on the new ios app.
