Change to web app ?

I refreshed my browser and now I get what looks like a radically new layout  (roles on the left side, schedule and boards toggle to the right)...?  Is this configurable? Can we change it back - if at least temporarily?  I really depend on this app but the changes are jarring and disruptive.  A heads up would be nice ....

What can be still improved?

The way to jump between boards that actually can be done only navigating with mouse in the drop-list. There's a lot of space available in the boards title area where with two simple one-click buttons could be faster and easier to jump to the previous/next board (and you'll save one click and the scroll along the boards list...) I need to review and update my boards often so that moving around them must be, from my point of view, very efficient.


Another key point is to update the prioritization quadrant that, as it is now, is useless for me. Indeed i need to check and prioritize a whole board and not the single lists contained into each board; again in that way it will be faster and more efficient.

Thanks for the run down, made a lot of sense and I can see how that would work. 

Out of curiosity....do you have Boards that match you Roles? Or are they different?

Hi Robert, here's my weekplan scheme:

Boards match my Roles both in business and private life.

Inside each board i have 3 lists (A, B, C) that means roughly when the activity/idea  need to be done; when i collect them i know already if one activity needs to be made soon, not so soon or sometime and this classification helps me to reduce the risk of too much overcrowded lists.

HIT (or Plan of the Week as they named now) is then a mirror of my roles/boards

i actually loved it the way it was. is there an option to change it back?

i have a number of roles and now everything is squished together.

Hello, thanks for your effort to revamp the layout.

  1. The biggest problem with the new layout is with the boards... Now we could not drag and drop the to-do items from the boards to the schedule as they are located in a different page. That defeats the whole strong point of Week Plan....
  2. Plan of the week / HIT is now very cramped, difficult to see the tasks.... and there is no way to resize the left pane.

Can you please please provide an option to go back to the old layout?

I always considered the original layout as a key differentiator from the other kanban-like products/services out there.  Ability to see your boards and schedule was what sold me on the weekplan - enough to make me want to spend $120 a year on a subscription.  Now? - not so much.

Resizing + ability to toggle the left side pane would be ideal ...

If i understand what you say, you are dragging to calendar more tasks from boards than from HIT.

If it's right then a solution may be the possibility to switch from PlanOfTheWeek to Boards in the left side of Schedule screen when you need to drag a task directly from boards to calendar.

Switching between the layouts old and new would be great.

The HIT area is too small. Missing the possibility of drag an drop from the board directly to the schedule.
