android app not working correctly

I just purchased a new phone and when I open the android app it will not allow me to interact with it. It will unfreeze at times and then lock back. I know my old phone used Android 8 and my new one is using 9. Is there something I can do to correct this. I am an ultimate user but not having access to my schedule while on the go will make me search for a new app. I do not want to do that.

Hi there,

We are sorry for the inconvenience. May we ask the new phone name you purchased and the screenshot/ screen recording of the issue you are facing please to check it further?

Thanks!

My new phone is an LG G8X Thinq. The mobile app come up and display information, but is then unresponsive. The application worked on my older LG V20. But since my upgrade has not functioned. I don't know how to record a video of it and fail to see.how a screen capture would be beneficial.

Thank you for providing more details. May I ask to check the resolution of your phone is set to WQHD? You can check it in Settings > Display >Screen resolution.

Your patience will be highly appreciated.

Thanks again.

The directions you sent me did not work. I am pretty sure the screen is a 1080 screen. Nothing looks out of the ordinary the application just doesn't work.

Sorry for the confusion. Our devs are looking into it and will release the new version soon.

Here is some more information that may be useful. The app will not work if where you touch is an active date or entry. If you touch on a "dead part" then you can scroll up and down as normal. Just not on the " active" areas.

Hi there Dev team,

I have similar issues. (on an Huawei p20 pro). I can scroll only if I touch a blank space, not when I slide my finger over tasks (which I have a lot of). Furthermore clicking and holding a task brings up some loading bar, but then all tasks get greyed out and I can't check any items for done or do anything else. Oddly enough the scrolling then does function as expected, I can scroll in any area now (but can't do anything such as adding a task).

What is the intended way to edit a task?

Thanks in advance for your response and thanks as well for making this awesome covey-style weekplanner!

I'm having the same freezing issue on the Android app (using a Samsung Note 10).  When I long press anything on the screen, the entire screen grays out and freezes. I have to close the app and reopen to clear the frozen state. The mobile app should allow the user to rearrange the task order.  The most intuitive way is to long press and drag it up/down to a new location.
