Meeting Notes Section would be great

I use this for work and would like to take my meeting notes in here as
well. When writing my meeting notes I would like to be able to create
my Action Items/Tasks from the same note page. In the section where we
can take our notes it would also be great to be able to tag them so that the notes are easily searchable.

I suggest you to use the Outliner.

This is how you could use it:



You can convert a line into a task (and mark it as completed, or schedule them like a normal task)
You can add notes to a line using SHIFT+ENTER

Hi Aymeric,

Thank you for the response. I tried this and had 2 problems with it.
1) As I was typing I constantly had to stop and reconfigure where my text was appearing. My cursor kept jumping to the front of the line for some reason. I'm on a new laptop so I kept checking to see if I was hitting anything or touching the trackpad but I couldn't see what was causing the issue. 2) I am not getting the option to turn the child notes into tasks, which is what I would need to use it this way. Please see below:


It's hard to tell but, the line that start as "Have Whitney..." is chosen. as you can see there is no pop up with the option to turn it into a task like the one seen when I choose the Parent node. From your response it sounds like I should be able to turn those into tasks, correct?

I agree that this is the perfect setup for my meeting notes. I would also suggest being able to tag them. For example If I wanted to go through my notes from all of my meetings with one person I would then just search their name.

Yes tags and search will come in the future, I am still analyzing how popular this extension is so I don't want to implement too many features in it yet.
