Google Calendar sync does not update everything

I'm seeing issues with the Google Calendar sync. It seems to sync random appointments from my calendar. But it does not sync all the appointments. I can't see any clear idea of what is and is not syncing. I have all my calendars selected as pull. It will pull some from a particular calendar, but not others.

Below, you can see that I have several events on my google calendar that do not show up on my weekplan calendar. I've also attached the settings for the calendar sync. If you look on Thursday, you can see that it has duplicated one of my events as well.

Sorry in the delay in responding, There was an issue with the Google Calendar sync code, we deployed some fixes Today. If you may  try again please :) 

Let us know if there is anything else that we may assist you with.

Still not working... Doesn't pull from other calendars past the first one selected.

I’m seeing a little different behavior. It seems to pull from all my calendars. But, if I accidentally delete an item from Weekplan that was from my Google Calendar, it never comes back. This is especially troublesome, because I did this for a recurring item. Once I deleted one of them, it has never come back. It is also variable about how quickly any new items show up. Most of the time, it is immediately after triggering a sync. But sometimes, even then it does not show up.

Currently, I’ve given up with having anything from Weekplan pushed onto my Google Calendar. It just gets completely cluttered from this. Also, once I assign an item to a role, it re-creates a duplicate of the item on whatever calendar is set for push.

May we know if this is the first you are syncing your Google Calendar with Weekplan?

If so, please be advised that it takes a while during the initial sync. Also, kindly take note of the limitations:

- Attendees in your Outlook calendar will be lost if you change the repetitions type (eg. Daily to Weekly) in WEEK PLAN.

- Deleting a single instance from a repetition in Outlook does not delete it from WEEK PLAN. This is due to the fact that Outlook doesn't notify us when such deletion is done.

- Entries from Outlook that are created 15 days prior to initiating the sync and on read/view only mode will not be captured.

If you are still having the same issue, please reach out through a private ticket along with a screenshot of those events/tasks not syncing with Weekplan.

I’m in the same boat now. Things just aren’t showing up anymore when I add them to my google calendar. I missed a meeting this morning, because I didn’t see it on my weekplan.

It's strange. I went back into Weekplan yesterday evening, and all of my new events just showed up. It seems like the format has changed slightly, once again. I'm not sure if there was some update to the code that seemed to fix this issue for me.

Our dev team advised that the Google account token may have expired and re-syncing the apps should help solve the issue.

Hey there!

I'm having the same trouble - been syncing selected google calendars for a few weeks (pull not push) and its very inconsistent - about half of my calendar events are making it into Weekplan.

I've tried triggering a syc, refreshing and reloading etc but it makes no difference.

I'm using the latest update of Chrome.

Any help appreciated!

I’m a new customer/user using both the web and the apps and it seems like only some of my Google Calendar events are synching into WeekPlan.  Perhaps this is still an issues? I believe set up for both pull and push properly?  I but find this frustrating and will make WeekPlan not usable for me or worth the Ulltimate Upgrade.  THanks!

Hey guys, for $50/year and such a sweet user interface and concept- surely you can get the Google Calendar Synch thing more reliable?  Other apps are doing it just fine so it is possible.  I can do screencaptures and am willing to schedule a screenshare to help test and troubleshoot the issue.  This is WAAY too good a concept to lose subscribers due to synch issues.   Call me!

I'm still having the same issues as well. They never got it completely fixed & I've just learned to deal with it. Likely won't renew my subscription though b/c it is a critical reason I upgraded & it's never worked right. 


I'm a new user and the synchronization function will be the deciding factor in me buying a yearly membership. I'm having the same problems as mentioned above. Some items synchronize and some never appear on the week plan calendar. When meetings times change in Google Calendar, they never change in Week Plan.

I'm happy to provide screenshots or to have someone hop on a screenshare to see. 

Still seeing this problem. Any timelines on when this is going to be fixed?

Our sincere apologies for the delay. We had deployed the synchronization fixes 2 days ago. May we ask to disconnect and connect again the Calendar.

If you are still facing issues can you please share the details with screenshots.

After disconnecting and connecting back my calendar I've got all missed meetings, but most of them appear twice
